Profectum is the premiere nonprofit training and education organization for DIR®, the Developmental, Individual Difference, Relationship-based Model. Focusing on individual profiles and strengths, and building robust connections through relationships, DIR® is an interdisciplinary approach for enabling developmental progress.

Profectum provides DIR® certification training and professional development for clinicians, professionals and educators, and also provides extensive educational resources for parents and caregivers. By providing affordable and accessible programming, Profectum aims to increase the number of people, communities, organizations, and systems using DIR® to help individuals and families. Profectum works across disciplines to convene people, disseminate information, and build community.
