Course overview

This 90-minute interactive workshop is for caregivers/parents, care providers and practitioners who are worried about our children’s future but can’t afford to fall apart. Together, we move through our fears, anxiety, rage, and grief of this moment so that we can align everyday caregiving with our social justice values when we’re triggered and tired. We will use a tool called the Social Justice Parenting Playbook to prepare our children to survive and thrive in this rapidly changing social and political climate. Let’s meet the moment with all we’ve got and be the caregivers we know we can be.

Frequently asked questions

How do I access Nat's free E-book

Within 5 to 7 business days from your registration, you will receive an email with a code and instructions to access Nat's e-book.

How will this knowledge help me in my practice

This workshop will help you stay grounded, intentional, and values-aligned in the moments that matter most. You’ll build greater awareness of your own reactive patterns so you can respond—rather than react—when fear, fatigue, or overwhelm take over. By learning concrete reflection questions and practicing social justice-informed strategies, you’ll be better equipped to meet children where they are emotionally, follow their lead, and support their sense of safety and agency. The tools from the Social Justice Parenting Playbook can be applied immediately in everyday interactions, helping you align caregiving decisions with your social justice values even during stressful or triggering moments.
